About Valley of Blue Snails
Valley of Blue Snails is a Dungeons and Dragons campaign setting. It is created for a cousin (Lt. Moree) who will soon be in Iraq. We chose to do an online D&D game to help prevent boredom and as a escape from the realities of things sucking over in Iraq. Incidentally this allows me write some homebrew material and chronicle it for self indulgence.
Mainly this blog will cover my notes in the creation process and to archive them. The end result will mainly be a campaign setting with some house rules to fit the setting. I am basing the rules upon Basic/Expert D&D rules along with some OD&D and 1st edition D&D tweaks. I should have a working copy of the setting completed sometime in late May 09.
